Receiver checklist
- Confirm driveway width, surface and slope
- Remove low branches and identify overhead lines
- Provide turning or safe reversing arrangements
- Keep people, pets and machinery clear
- Identify the tipping location before the vehicle enters
- Reassess ground conditions after rain
- Use a spotter where agreed and safe
Do not direct a truck into an area that may collapse, bog, roll or prevent a safe exit. The driver retains final authority over vehicle safety.
